About Us

We are a Christian Counseling Center, a NGO under the umbrella of CEAI (Community Enrichment Alliance International), which provides counseling, staff care and training, mainly, but not limited to Cambodians.
Our team consists of experienced and qualified Khmer, English and Korean speaking counselors, who are skilled, deeply caring and committed to wholistic healing of individuals, families and communities, so they can experience the emotional healing and enriched life originally intended by God for all human beings.

History

Layer 7
Oasis started in August 2016, in response to a growing need for a Counseling Center for Cambodians. At that time there were few counseling centers for ex-pats and internationals, but there were no independent
counseling centers for the Khmer speaking Cambodians except for clinics, which provided medicine for severe mental health cases.
Jenny had a conviction from Isaiah 55:3 which says, ‘Give ear and come to Me; hear me, that your soul may live’. God never meant for us to live alone, but He gave us one another to help and encourage each other. And yet, when we feel there is no help, and we are alone in our suffering, there is despair. One very important truth about God’s message to us is, there is always ‘Hope’ and we can always come Home to God and receive from Him, that our soul may live to the fullest.
Upon ministering to various women’s ministries, she felt many women in Cambodia were just living because they had life, but they seem to be struggling with the emotional anguish and cares of life. She was convicted there can be more that we can do for the women and their families to receive easy access to counseling without having to go through a program to receive it. Thus Oasis House Christian Counseling Center was birthed.

We currently serve both men and women through counseling, staff care and training mostly in Khmer but also in English and Korean languages.
